Postcard Trading Scheme
As you may know, QHacc and KHacc are freely downloadable and modifiable. They were written for your enjoyment at virtually no cost to you. Producing software of this kind is very time consuming and labor intensive, especially given the remarkably little subject-area knowledge that the developers possess.

This form of software development is a two-way street. I write the software, and have (hopefully) done well enough that you are considering using it. But in return for using this software, I want something from you. It's not much, but it will require some actual effort on your part:
I would like to receive a postcard from your local vicinity. City, State, Country, Continent, whatever. Where ever you are from, of whatever you think I might like. If you use and like QHacc or KHacc, I'd like to hear from you. And to sweeten the deal, if you include your address, I will return the favor with a postcard from lovely Charlottesvile, Virginia, USA.

The mailing address is:
Ryan Bobko
P. O. Box 5371
Charlottesville, VA 22905-5371
USA

I have a big map of the world on my wall, with little pins in it from everywhere I have received a postcard. Right now, that map has eleven pins in it. Won't you be the twelfth?

For those keeping track at home, I have received postcards from:

  1. Larry in Italy (but written in German)
  2. Peter in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA
  3. Hugues in Normandie, France
  4. Bearcat in Seeley Lake, Montana, USA
  5. Mike in Bradford, Ontario, Canada
  6. Joel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
  7. Rob in Gig Harbor, Washington, USA
  8. Larry in Riverside, Rhode Island, USA
  9. John in Coal Township, Pennsylvania, USA
  10. Ty in Australia
  11. Jan in Almere, Holland

Please note that QHacc and KHacc are not "postcard-ware" programs. I am curious of the whereabouts of the programs, and would appreciate the postcards, but the programs are released under the GPL.
